There are many such women.
Women who pity their sisters
Their sisters now partnered, or turned into "Mrs."
The ones who have found their soulmate.
In their single women’s minds,
They pity these married women
Assuming that they live through miseries
That they live through sufferings of every kind.
They will take every one of your misunderstandings
And multiply them tenfold into problems
Stirring up complications
That can end in a "Does he really love me?"
For my part, I hold one thing to be certain
Being in a relationship goes beyond such opinions
It is a communion, with a good dose
Of the many things that change a life
Advice received from a single woman
Must be handled with tongs
How could they ever speak clearly
Of the very things they are still questing after?
They will say of your conduct
That it is clumsy and misguided
That your love is far too abundant
They will make you feel worse and worse.
They will tell you that you have lost your mind
That the answer you gave
Is that of a woman submissive and forsaken
A woman gone daft, taken for a ride by her man
But what are you looking for in a union?
The praise and commentary of a girlfriend?
Or love, peace, a home and passion
With this man with whom you share a true chemistry?
May each of us find her own answer
And lead her life accordingly
Otherwise, you will live among the brambles
Awaiting the day of your repentance.
