A NEW START TO THE MATCH.

A year that is beginning is like the start of a match. So long as the referee has not whistled for full time, it goes on and victory is still possible. 

Today a new month begins. 

No matter the disappointments, the failures and the losses you have suffered; 

Notwithstanding the delays, the waverings and the dips in morale you have known;

It is still possible to tell yourself I DID IT IN 2021, 

to take comfort in saying I NO LONGER BELIEVED IN IT BUT I GOT IT IN 2021, 

to rise on the morning of 1 January 2022 murmuring to yourself GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN ME, MY PERSEVERANCE AND MY FAITH HAVE PAID OFF ONCE AGAIN IN 2021.

And even when you have not succeeded, praise the Everlasting all the same. 

Along those lines, be glad ONCE if your own will is done. But be glad A THOUSAND TIMES if you do not receive what you want, because then it is God’s will that is being done. And no one is unaware of the GOOD that a Father can wish, always and ever, for his son. 

Be blessed, and see to it that you drain every source of joy and happiness before the year is out. The springs of 2022 are more abundant still!!
